Grand Junction, CO to Moab, UT
For my trip to Moab, UT, I flew into Grand Junction, CO. The one United flight arrived around 4:30pm.
I didn’t want fast food for dinner. From google map, I found the Strayhorn Grill in Lomo, CO. It had good food reviews.
Friendly staff. Very good prime rib. The place seems regular with the area rancher families.
Then I headed to Moab. I turned too early and ended up on Utah 128. It is narrow winding but runs along the Colorado river.

2007 MCAS Beaufort Air Show
On April 21, 2007 I attended the 2007 MCAS Beaufort Air Show. I bought a front row reserved seat. I was seated directly across where the Blue Angels were parked.
It was incredible show. At the end of the show, I see the Blue Angel pilots marching in formation. As they pass each plane, a pilot does a smart turn and marches to his plane. One by one each plane pulls out and turns. I loved seeing them take off in formation.
Mid way into the Blue Angel segment, I started to head to my car which was parked near a unused runway. I watched the Blue Angels as I walked.
I was trying to beat the crowd leaving. Regrettably Blue Angel 6 Lieutenant Commander Kevin "Kojak" Davis greyed out and crashed.

Biodôme de Montréal
The 67th World Science Fiction Convention (Worldcon), also known as Anticipation, was hosted in Montréal, Québec, Canada, on 6–10 August 2009, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
While in Montreal attending Anticipation, I visited the Montreal Biodome.
The Montreal Biodome (French: Biodôme de Montréal) is a facility located in Montreal that allows visitors to walk through replicas of four ecosystems found in the Americas. The building was originally constructed for the 1976 Olympic Games as a velodrome.
