Review: Strayhorn Grill (Loma, CO)

My flight got into Grand Junction around dinner time. I didn’t want to eat fast food before traveling to Moab.

I had used google map to check places and their reviews.

Strayhorn Grill had nice reviews and was close to I-70 in Loma. It is attached to the Western Slope Cattleman’s Livestock Auction House. For dinner, it is only open friday and saturday.

The staff was very friendly. It is a favorite with the local rancher families. The prime rib was very good.

Grand Junction, CO to Moab, UT

For my trip to Moab, UT, I flew into Grand Junction, CO. The one United flight arrived around 4:30pm.

I didn’t want fast food for dinner. From google map, I found the Strayhorn Grill in Lomo, CO. It had good food reviews.

Friendly staff. Very good prime rib. The place seems regular with the area rancher families.

Then I headed to Moab. I turned too early and ended up on Utah 128. It is narrow winding but runs along the Colorado river.
