What a delightful evening!!
The orchestra played a couple songs then the lights dim further and spotlight shine. A little girl comes out. When talking to the audience and waiting in the musical interudes, Jackie seemed like a nervous 12 year old little girl.
Then she started to sing and she is transformed. Jackie singing has the poise and the voice of a 30 year old. As I said before what a delight to hear.
Here is a real short clip from my seat.
And here is a real short close-up clip from a couple days earlier someone else posted.
Here is another unrelated video that shows Jackie's interaction with the audience. It is also a duet between her and her older brother.

Review: Egg Harbor Cafe
Forturenately I still have a job. Unfortunaly I have only been able to travel to one suburban restaurant per weekend. This saturday morning I had breakfast at Egg Harbor Cafe in Lincolnshire. The decor is industrial country chicken. Crowded but not full. Nice friendly college age waitstaff. I had fresh squeezed orange juice, duck bacon and a cinnamon roll french toast.
The bacon was applewood smoked thick duck bacon. It tasted as good as any applewood smoked pork bacon but it didn’t have the striped appearance as regular bacon. The french toast was a cinnamon roll cut in the slices and cooked like regular french toast. Very good.

Lincoln Park Conservatory (winter) #3
The Lincoln Park Conservatory’s Show House is the perfect backdrop for family holiday photos where model trains wind their way through a miniature village set among a colorful pallet of Poinsettias. An old-fashioned steam engine and freight trains traverse through a festive floral display. Visitors escaping the cold can enjoy a beautiful Poinsettia display.

The Lincoln Park Conservatory, owned and operated by the Chicago Park District, was designed by nationally renowned architect of the Victorian era Joseph Lyman Silsbee in collaboration with architect M.E. Bell. The Conservatory was built in phases between 1890 and 1895, replacing a small greenhouse that dated from the 1870s and was designed both to showcase exotic plants and to grow the thousands of plants needed for use in the parks, which it still does today.

Review: Gojo's Cafe and Pancake House
gojo's Cafe is located at the intersection of Green Bay Rd (Rt 131) and Belvidere Rd (Rd 120) Waukegan, IL. If you are visiting your son or daughter who is training at Great Lake Naval Station, this is a good place to eat. Nice friendly staff but nothing special.
I had a bacon waffle and OJ for $9.50. It was good but the bacon wasn't cooked in. It was just crumbled on top.

Huntington Island State Park, SC
Hunting Island State Park is one of the most popular state parks and beach areas in South Carolina. The Hunting Island beach attracts over a million visitors a year.
The pristine sandy beach, natural setting and warm Atlantic Ocean make a perfect getaway. Hunting Island features a campground, which has spaces for RV's and tent campers, as well as a primitive camp site for established groups. The camping area has very easy access to the beach.
The Hunting Island historic lighthouse is the only lighthouse open to the public to climb in the state. From the top platform, one can get a breathtaking view of the ocean, beach and the marshland.
